ShootingStar Psychology & Psychotherapy
ShootingStar is a clinic that focuses on feminine life, empowering femininity, building resilience, living with purpose, creating healthy lifestyles, and healing psychological wounds.
Dr Christiane Northrup has observed that culturally we are accustomed to look down on the feminine world, believing “intellect is superior to emotions, the mind and spirit are superior to and entirely separate from the body, masculinity is superior to femininity, and nature is something to be exploited for her resources.”
Femininity is usually associated with women, although this is not always the case. Nevertheless, many women are pushed socially to occupy this position. So, instead of living and appreciating their feminine traits, they struggle with them. For women there are very significant life transitions that question the female body, feminine and the power of femininity: Menarche, Childbirth and Menopause.
In this constellation of cultural, psychological, and biological stereotyping of what it means to be a woman, it is worth falling away from preconceived ideas. Find your own path, construct your own meaning.
